The project is located in the NW of the province of Catamarca at 4,200 meters above sea level. At Purulla dacitic intrusives have been emplaced into a Paleozoic metasedimentary basement. A strongly leached cap, with a dense continuous stockwork of quartz / hematite

+/- Jarosite is exposed in a central stream cut covering, with anomalous values of Cu and Mo. 

The Project is located on a NW-SE structural corridor where major Cu and Mo deposits are located, such as Salvador and Potrerillos in Chile and Bajo de la Alumbrera and Agua Rica in Argentina. These surface elements combined with a strong IP chargability anomaly at depth beneath the stockwork zone are consistent with the possibility of discovery of a major leached porphyry Cu – Mo deposit. With potential for a significant supergene- enriched Cu zone at depth.

The project area includes a 1000 x 300 m zone of leached quartz- limonite stockwork with intense argillic alteration and anomalous Mo- (Cu), within a broader zone of intermediate argillic and propylitic alteration.
